Help us grow the creative community in New Jersey.

NJ Indy is a community of creators. A community of writers, photographers, artists, musicians, artisans, chefs, brewers, business owners and all others passionate about fostering the growth of Jersey culture and connecting people around the state to the offerings that make this place unique.

Our mission to support that community—in short- and long-form stories, photography, videos, social media, publications and more—is made possible, in part, by contributions from our readers.

In just over a year, we’ve bootstrapped this publication out of nothingness to a site and social media platform that reaches tens of thousands of New Jerseyans every month. Your support helps us bring more people into the greater NJ community of creators, and provides the necessary funding to launch a print edition, pay more writers (and pay them better) to produce more stories, and present in-person events with the creators we cover.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but your contributions help grow the cultural ecosystem in New Jersey. Your support directly benefits the local journalists who find and create stories, and, in turn, the creators, artisans and businesses that are at the fore of the Jersey creative front.

NJ Indy will never have a paywall. We won’t bombard your browser with ads (some ads, but hardly a bombardment). Whether you choose to support us or not, our stories will always be available for free. And we will remain, as our name indicates, independent—with your support.

We reflect the DIY ethos of so many of the creators we cover by asking directly of our supporters to help us grow with whatever you can spare. If you believe in this mission and in this community, we hope you consider a one-time, monthly or annual contribution now or in the future.

Donation links send you to our secure Stripe payment portal.

Your secure one-time or recurring donation is processed through the third-party financial services platform, Stripe. NJ Indy will never sell or share your personal information. Contact us with any questions.
